About
“Art is how we understand he world”
Fabiana Ribeiro
I've always been fascinated by the details—the curve of a leaf, the texture of fur, the expression in a child’s eyes. Growing up in Brazil, I found inspiration in nature, books, and animals. My first drawings were made with pencils and the margins of my school notebooks. I was the one whom people searched to do their drawings in school. Years later, they evolved into fully illustrated stories, children's books, and delicate botanical studies. Art became my way of understanding the world—and sharing my view of it with others.
Becoming an artist was my dream coming true. Since 2017, I have always had a very close relationship with art, and I fell in love with watercolour in 2017. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with authors, taught painting workshops, and created hundreds of original pieces now living in homes around the world.
What Inspires Me
- Nature: From delicate flowers to intricate tree roots
Animals: All types of them...with scales, fur, feathers, and shells
Quiet moments: A cup of matcha, an instrumental song, a walk in nature
